Mad Cow holds open season auditions each spring and summer for the coming season.  Periodic auditions, as needed, occur during the year.  

 

Mad Cow Theatre Announces Auditions for Season 20!

 

MAD COW THEATRE is celebrating its upcoming 20th season propelled by those two most basic building blocks of theatre - honest, passionate acting and powerful, dynamic language.  We are committed to maintaining a company whose work is a celebration of life, in the belief that the Theatre is a profound and joyous experience for all that partake. MAD COW THEATRE is holding general auditions for its upcoming 20th season.

The God Game by Suzanne Bradbeer

Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw
Picasso at the Lapin Agile by Steve Martin
Three Sisters by Anton Chekhov
Animal Crackers, Music and lyrics by Bert Kalmar and Harry Ruby, Book by George S. Kaufman and Morrie Ryskind
Skylight by David Hare
Fences by August Wilson
The Amish Project by Jessica Dickey

Mad Cow Theatre is seeking professional actors with strong dramatic and comedic skills for season 20 productions. Auditioners should prepare TWO contrasting 1-minute monologues. Monologues should be from a published work only. Please bring ONE headshot and resume.

Auditions for Pygmalion, The God Game, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Three Sisters, Skylight, Fences, and The Amish Project will be scheduled by appointment only on the following dates:

 

Sunday, May 15: 3 PM – 8 PM
Monday, May 16: 6 PM – 10 PM
Saturday, June 4: 10 AM – 6 PM
Wednesday, June 15: 3 PM – 10 PM

NOTE:

  • There is a single role in Season 20 for a young actor, the role of Raynell Maxson in Fences. This audition will be held at a later point in the year. 
  • Auditions for Animal Crackers will be announced at a later time.
  • Callbacks will be held throughout the summer. 

 

Musical auditions for 1776

 

This production is presented with an all female cast. Mad Cow Theatre is seeking professional, FEMALE singers/actors for 1776. Auditioners should prepare to present 32 bars of their best musical theatre selection and also have a second 32 bar cutting ready to be presented if asked. Please bring one headshot and resume. An accompanist will be provided, no CDs or lead sheets please.

Musical auditions for 1776 will be scheduled by appointment only on the following date:

Sunday, June 5: 11 AM – 6 PM 

Artists should make themselves available for callbacks to be fully considered for casting. Callbacks for 1776 will be held by invitation only on the following date:

Monday, June 6: 6 PM – 10 PM
