Mad Cow Theatre
Company seeks a dynamic and skilled professional to serve as the
Production Manager. Key responsibilities include the supervision
of all production activities including 10+ productions per season,
including The Orlando Cabaret Festival.
Responsibilities
include
• management
of production budgets
• planning and revising of production calendar
• hiring and supervision of production staff including
designers, stage managers and technical
personnel
• scheduling and facilitating production meetings
including setting agendas and publishing
notes for personnel
• Overseeing construction, load-in, and strike of
production-related scenery, costumes,
lighting and sound
• Manage maintenance, care, acquisitions, rentals
and loans of production-related equipment
and assets
The ideal
candidate is an experienced production manager with 3 – 5 years
of theatrical production experience and a college degree. The
production manager must be a skilled technical professional with
exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills. The successful
candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication
skills. The production manager needs strong computer skills, including
Microsoft Excel to successfully manage the department. As a member
of the company staff, s/he must have the ability to work productively
and graciously under time and budget constraints, utilize flexibility,
and bring a unique combination of creative and analytical talents
to the theatre. A strong sense of humor is required.

full-time position, reporting to the Artistic Director with compensation

MAD COW THEATRE ANNOUNCES AUDITIONS FOR ELLIOT,
A SOLDIER'S FUGUE
MAD COW THEATRE is holding auditions by appointment
only on Saturday, June 21 for it's production of Tony Award-nominated
Quiera Alegria Hudes' Elliot, A Soldier's Fugue. Needed
are three men and 1 woman, all in their twenties. The play is
the story of 3 generations of soldiers in one family, serving
in Iraq, Vietnam, and Korea. We see their stories unfold simultaneously
on the stage, so that each character is seen at the age in which
they served in the military, even though they are a generation
apart. Production dates for Elliot are July 31 - Aug 24,
2008.
Actors of Hispanic heritage are STRONGLY urged
to attend. Mad Cow is seeking a diverse company of actors and

Auditions will be held on Saturday, June 21,
2008 at Mad Cow Theatre, 105 S. Magnolia, Orlando, 32801. Actors
are asked to prepare a 1 - 2 minute monologue and may be asked
to read from the script. Mad Cow requests that monologues be from
published plays. Please bring a picture and resume. We encourage
all actors to be familiar with the play before auditioning, perusals
are available at the theatre afternoons 12n - 6p, with extended
hours on performance days.
